Essential Job Functions Build and manage a high-quality commercial loan portfolio across a variety of business industries. Develop strong relationships with local business owners, centers of influence, and community partners. Analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and structure loan solutions tailored to client needs. Conduct ongoing portfolio monitoring to maintain credit quality and ensure timely renewals. Represent the bank in community organizations, networking events, and business development activities. Partner closely with credit, operations, and leadership to deliver quick, local decisions and exceptional client service. Requirements Proven experience as a Commercial Lender, Relationship Manager, or similar role within a financial institution. Strong knowledge of credit analysis, commercial lending practices, and loan structuring. Deep understanding of the local business market and a passion for community involvement. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, goal oriented, and comfortable managing a growing portfolio. Ability to work collaboratively with a small but highly effective leadership team.
