Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to determine the severity and impact of mood disorders, alongside other presenting issues. \n
- Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and therapeutic needs. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that methods are appropriate for the client's condition. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options while promoting effective self-care practices. \n
- Regularly monitor client progress, updating treatment strategies as necessary to maximize effectiveness and align with their evolving needs. \n
- Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. \n
- Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in marriage and family therapy to enhance the quality of care provided. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements. \n
- Participate in professional development, team meetings, and case consultations to foster a supportive learning environment. \n
- Advocate for mental health awareness and clients' needs within the therapeutic process and the larger community. \n
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Carson Counseling Center, you will work primarily with couples and families undergoing transitions such as divorce, relationship dissolution, and emotional turmoil. Your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate their feelings, strengthen communication, and rebuild trust as they seek healthier relational dynamics.

- Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n

- Annual salary ranging from USD $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. \n
