Local Contract Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $52-57 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Dallas, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios (ESTIMATED) : 1:2
• Unit staffing description:  Assignments according to acuity and skills
• Type of equipment : all ICU equipment-ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitor
• Documentation system:  Meditech
• Scheduling requirements : flexible, out a month is advance
• Floating policy:  As needed

Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

• 2 year ICU experience
• BLS
• ACLS

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:

• CRRT, Hypothermia protocol
• Meditech Experience preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)

• Active RN TX license – temp license will not be accepted

Procedures performed on unit: 

• Central line placements, bedside procedure like thoracentesis, dialysis Cath placements, cardioversions, intubations and all other ICU procedures

Patient Experience Required:

• Surgical population especially oncology
