Distribution Services Specialist

Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal (GMs, RVPOs, franchisees) and external (guests, travel agents, partners) customers, demonstrating ownership of our impact on all of their businesses Build new Red Roof Inn hotels in all databases Gather necessary information by utilizing online resources to research new hotels, identify attractions, and verify addresses/mileage Communicate with GDS partners regarding new hotel according to established timelines Complete data entry in all necessary systems with accuracy and thoroughness Sync rates and room types to channels Open hotel for booking on opening date Activate hotels on the OTA sites, including communication with the hotel and our OTA partners, completing required spreadsheets/paperwork and tracking progress Load promotions received from Revenue Managers in a timely manner; follow-up to ensure proper loading and display Update room types and/or rates for hotels on the OTA sites Work with OTA partners to investigate and correct any issues related to rates or availability on the OTA sites Maintain detailed logs of promotions, activations and all department procedures Support revenue management and operations departments in efforts to maximize bookings across all channels Enter and maintain all property and brand-related information across multiple channels Ensure clarity and integrity of all data entered, including proper spelling/grammar, while adhering to department guidelines Maintain notes and documentation related to all department procedures Communicate with property management and Contact Center staff to ensure accuracy of all information in all systems; respond to all requests received in a timely manner Answer inbound calls to the Distribution Team line Other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr Red Roof All Jobs
