Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) near Manchester, NH. This role runs from August 2026 to November 2026, spans a 12-week assignment, and offers full-time Monday through Friday hours, with a weekly commitment of 32 to 37.5 hours. As the dedicated COTA for the assignment, you'll play a vital role in helping young learners reach their fullest potential in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification and licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Familiarity with IEPs and the educational support process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy support to elementary students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist the supervising Occupational Therapist with implementing treatment strategies and documenting student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to foster student growth and participation
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to progress reports
- Adapt therapeutic activities to create a positive, engaging learning environment
