Locums - Rockford, Illinois - Vascular Surgeon Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible vascular surgeon

• Coverage needed:

  • September 28-October 6

  • October 23-29

  • November 9-12

  • December 23-27

  • December 30-January 3

• Active Illinois license required; IMLC not accepted

• Clean background required

• Rush credentialing available; temporary privileges will be requested

• Coverage supplements an existing team and is sporadic, with variable shift dates

• Local providers preferred due to the flexible, as-needed schedule

• Busy, well-established vascular surgery program with continued growth

• Level I Trauma Center

• Must perform both open and endovascular procedures

• Average census of 5-10 patients per day

• Approximately 6 outpatient elective procedures

• Support includes:

  • 1 APP and nursing staff in clinic

  • 2 APPs assisting with inpatient rounding

• Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday clinic, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

  • Night call, but not nightly

  • Some 24-hour weekend call coverage

• EMR: Epic
