Job Title Education Program Lead Coordinator Department Arts and Sciences | Chemistry and Biochemistry Administration Overview The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Arts and Sciences seeks an Education Program Lead Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities Assist General Chemistry Lab Supervisor with everyday chemistry needs; Assist in the development, implementation, and setup of general chemistry labs; Assist with the development and preparation of teaching aids, including laboratory manuals, Carmen assignments, and laboratory rubrics; Provide mentoring to teaching assistants and monitor TA adherence to grading policies and deadlines; Assist the Gen Chem Lab Supervisor and TA training coordinator with the training and mentoring of graduate students, undergraduate students, and staff teaching assistants; Develop ongoing TA training materials; Manage and facilitate staff meetings; Assist with responding to inquiries regarding general or organic chemistry courses; Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum required qualifications: High School diploma or GED. 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience. Desired qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with a major in chemistry or biochemistry. Previous teaching experience in a university setting. Compensation Pay range: $20.24 - $26.44 per hour. Location Celeste Laboratory of Chemistry (0371) Position Type Term (Fixed Term) Schedule 40 hours per week, First Shift.
