Plant Electrician

Plant ElectricianGeorgia-Pacific's Leominster, MA facility is seeking a skilled Plant Electrician to join our team. Our maintenance team works closely with operations and engineering to solve challenges, improve reliability, and support safe, efficient production. Individuals who enjoy taking ownership, contributing ideas, and helping improve how work gets done will find opportunities to grow and make a meaningful impact.This position pays $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and job-related qualifications as well as a shift differential ($1 for days, $2 for nights). Highly skilled candidates may be eligible for a higher starting rate consistent with our compensation philosophy. We have openings for 12-hour overnight and daytime shifts. Plant Electricians work some weekends, holidays, and overtime as required and maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).What You Will DoTroubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical equipment and circuits to support safe, reliable productionInstall and commission equipment in accordance with OSHA requirements and applicable electrical codesPerform preventive maintenance activities that improve equipment reliability and maximize facility uptimeInterpret electrical, process, and instrumentation drawings to diagnose issues and identify solutionsSupport equipment upgrades, continuous improvement projects, and successful equipment startupsMaintain accurate maintenance records, labor hours, and service-order documentation in the MP2 systemPartner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams while contributing ideas that create value and improve performanceWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Two (2) years or more of electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentLicensed electrician (i.e., journeyman), as required in the state of MAWhat Will Put You AheadExperience interpreting process, instrumentation, and electrical drawingsExperience with Control Logix, Device Net, and Control NetExperience with 480 volt motorsExperience troubleshooting process equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.)At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
