Details Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) with 22 beds Staffing includes a charge nurse and multiple RNs across day, mid, and night shifts Patient ratio of 1:4 Uses splinting equipment, defibrillators, Hamilton ventilators, Welch Allyn devices, and bedside cardiac monitoring Charting in Meditech Magic, transitioning to Meditech Expanse Shift schedule is 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM Weekend requirement is flexible, either as needed or every other weekend No on-call requirements May be required to float to Fairmont FSED as needed Requirements Active TX or compact RN license Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications TNCC certification required NIHSS certification required CPI certification required Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Emergency Department nursing No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting procedures Strong teamwork and patient experience focus valued Must wear royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes with no holes No false nails, AirPods, or smart glasses permitted; stethoscope must be available for assessments No food or drinks allowed at the nurse's station per regulatory guidelines Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted ENPC and NRP certifications are preferred but not required American Traveler Job ID P-763661.
