Preop / Pacu Registered NurseThe position requires a flexible schedule with on-call requirements of roughly 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period. Weeknight call hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM, and weekend call hours are from 7 AM to 7 AM the following day.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Preop / Pacu Registered Nurse to join our team at a community hospital. The facility features 7 operating rooms and offers specialties including Neuro, Plastics, ENT, Breast, General, GYN, Urology, Ortho, Vascular, and Endoscopy. The RN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures and will be involved in both preoperative and postoperative recovery phases.ResponsibilitiesAssess and monitor patients' conditions in preoperative and postoperative settings.Administer medications and provide education to patients and their families.Coordinate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent RN license valid in the state of practice.Required health screenings and vaccinations, including MMR, Hepatitis B, TB, and Tdap.Completion of a fit test for respiratory protection.CPR/BLS certification and any other relevant certifications.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
