Commercial Account Manager About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established insurance firm offering a comprehensive range of Commercial, Personal, and Group Benefits Insurance solutions. As a Commercial Account Manager , you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing a book of commercial accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the entire renewal and coverage process. This is a relationship-driven position with no cold calling required — success is built on referrals and inbound leads. Responsibilities Manage the entire renewal process independently for each commercial account, including scheduling renewal meetings, facilitating policy reviews, and consulting on policy changes. Provide quotes and estimates on new business, re-market accounts to carriers, bind coverages, and process invoices. Cross-sell and up-sell services to existing clients, and write new business through referrals and inbound leads — no cold calling or prospecting required. Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure optimal coverage and pricing for clients. Process certificates of insurance, endorsements, and policy bindings in a timely and accurate manner. Report to the office Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, in a fully in-office role. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry. Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required. Candidates residing within 30 minutes of the office are preferred. Strong ability to manage multiple accounts and renewal timelines independently. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
