Server & Cook – EVEN Hotel WacoEVEN Hotel Waco is looking for reliable and experienced Servers and Cooks to join our team. Candidates should have previous food and beverage experience , a positive attitude, and the ability to provide excellent service and quality food to our guests.
Shift Hours:
Breakfast: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Dinner: 4:30 PM – 11:00 PM
BEO Events: Must be available to work when Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) are scheduled.
Requirements:
Previous food and beverage experience
Availability to work weekends
Flexible schedule for BEO events and scheduled functions
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Commitment to cleanliness, food quality, and guest satisfaction
$14 - $16 hourly
Responsibilities:- Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations
- Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
- Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions
- Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations
- This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
- Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
Opened in March 2024, EVEN Hotel Waco University Area is a wellness-focused hotel within the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
