Your Role as a Teacher:

At The Goddard School in Charlestown, co-teaching teams coordinate daily class operations, plan and evaluate engaging activities, and communicate with families—creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Certified by MA EEC for Infant/Toddler
  
  
  
• 1+ year experience in a licensed childcare center
  
  
• Meet all MA EEC background check and fingerprinting requirements
  
  
• Knowledge of child safety and first-aid protocols
  
  
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
  
• Reliable, team-oriented, and flexible
  
  
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and move safely around the classroom
  
  
• Comfortable working any required 9-hour shift between 7AM–6PM
  
  
  
• Attend monthly staff meetings (typically Tuesday, 6–8PM during holiday weeks)
  
  
• Able to hear, see, speak, and move effectively in a childcare environment
  
  
• Capable of responding to emergencies and handling crisis situations involving children
