CAS Senior | Boutique Independent CPA Firm | Hybrid | Chicago Area

Location: Hybrid — Chicago Area (3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Compensation: Up to $110,000 base + performance bonus

Requirements: 4–5+ years CAS experience | QuickBooks proficiency required

We are an independently owned CPA and business consulting firm based in the Chicago area — boutique in size, sophisticated in operation. Founded over 30 years ago, we have grown into a tight-knit team serving entrepreneurs, small business owners, and individuals nationwide, with deep expertise in real estate accounting and professional services.

• Boutique firm, real responsibility — you are not a cog in a large firm machine. You manage client relationships directly, work alongside partners, and have real visibility into the work you produce

What We Are Looking For

• 4–5+ years of CAS or outsourced accounting experience in a professional firm environment
• Advanced QuickBooks proficiency — Online and Desktop; ProAdvisor certification a plus
• Strong foundation in financial reporting, general ledger management, payables and receivables, payroll, and cash management
• Experience with payroll and expense management platforms
• Comfortable managing engagement budgets, timelines, and client deliverables independently
• Strong communicator — you will work directly with clients and partners regularly
• Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and adaptable to new workflows and systems
• Real estate accounting experience a plus

• Base salary up to $110,000, commensurate with experience
• Annual performance bonus — up to 8%, paid out in June
