Now Hiring ABA Behavior Technicians/RBTs – Afternoon Shifts!

• Location: Bergen County, NJ

• Position: ABA Behavior Technician/RBT

• Compensation: $20–30/hr (based on experience)

• Type: Part-Time (15–20 hrs/week)

• Shifts: Afternoons/ Evenings (3–4 hrs/day, vary by client)

Afternoon Schedules:

• Lyndhurst, NJ : M- F: 4/5- 7/8 PM

• Garfield, NJ : M- Th: 4- 7PM

• Wood-Ridge, NJ : M- F: 3:30- 6:30PM

• Ridgefield, NJ : Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri: 3/3:30- 5/5:30PM & Sat 10AM- 1PM

• Lodi, NJ : Mon–Fri, 3 hours per day (15 hours weekly), with flexible scheduling between 10AM - 7 PM.

About Compass ABA:

• As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism.

• Help build communication, play, social, and daily living skills.

• Work in homes or community settings.

Responsibilities as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT:

• Adventure Guide: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.

• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout: Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.

• Team Explorer: Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.

• Compass of Compassion: Offer encouragement and care during sessions.

• Calm Captain: Create a safe, structured learning environment.

• Progress Compass: Collect and record data to guide treatment.

• Learning Navigator: Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (college preferred).

• Authorized to work in the United States and able to successfully complete all onboarding requirements.

• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members in both languages.

• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities.

• Experience with children/autism preferred.

• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.
