Summary of Position We are seeking a non‑invasive Cardiology trained physician to join us in pursuit of high‑quality patient care to provide Cardiology services including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance. Ideal Candidate One to three years of cardiology clinical experience in an outpatient setting. Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of cardiology conditions and improve patient outcomes. Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained. Patient‑centered approach toward a positive patient experience. Excellent communication skills. Interest in Population Health Management. Principal Accountabilities Perform a wide range of non‑invasive Cardiology procedures. Examine and treat disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Diagnose patients with the aid of diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings. Heart disease early prevention screenings. Cardiovascular disease early prevention detection screening. Metabolic and Peripheral vascular disease testing. Pacemaker and Defibrillator monitoring. Echocardiography and Stress Echo testing. Review patient’s history and perform physical examinations. Evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care. Recommend suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to, preventive health recommendations and habits. Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans. Provide relationship‑centered care, taking into account the patient’s psychosocial and physical needs. Collect and record patient information, such as medical histories, reports and examination results. Maintain complete and accurate medical records. Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care. Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings. Qualifications Education, Training, Licenses, Certifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or foreign equivalent Completion of four year post graduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in internal medicine and three years of cardiology fellowship training Relevant Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Seeking both experienced – two years and above, and newly trained providers Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology or Echocardiography with a preference for Level II or Level III Core Cardiovascular Training Statement (COCATS) -Certification Must maintain certification in nuclear cardiology from The Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC) Must maintain certification in echocardiography from the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) Must maintain radiation safety certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Must possess current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification strongly preferred Must possess strong communication skills both oral and written Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office Additional Information Requisition ID: 1000002553 Hiring Range: $400,000-$575,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr AdvantageCare Physicians
