Unit Technician - Emergency Department

Role Unit Technician, providing essential support in patient care across various hospital units, including cardiac and emergency departments. Responsibilities Assist with patient care under licensed medical staff, perform continuous cardiac monitoring, analyze heart rhythms, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. In emergency settings, collaborate with team members, identify critical conditions, activate emergency response plans, perform ECGs, splinting, and other duties as directed. Qualifications Must be 18+ with either 12 college credits or a high school diploma/GED plus Nursing Assistant training. Basic computer skills, strong organizational and communication abilities, teamwork, flexibility, and knowledge of medical terminology are required. BLS certification is mandatory before patient care duties begin. Additional Details Nonexempt, part-time role with a schedule of 12-hour shifts starting at 11 am, working every 3rd weekend/holiday.
