Serco is hiring several skillsets to be part of a dynamic team supporting our CTII program located in the beautiful surroundings in Chesapeake, Virginia.Serco supports our US Naval Ships with successful and safe work by providing cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations for our Military. You will join an amazing team to fabricate, and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies by applying appropriate safety techniques. You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco team members to deliver high technology performed on (CTII) program.Now hiring skilled professionals in the following areas:Engineering TechniciansMechanical AssemblersWeldersTo be successful in this role, you will have:Shipboard or shipyard experience or a related field.The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.The ability to obtain gain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS).The ability to work onsite 5 days a week.The ability to obtain any required certifications.Experience in (1) one of the following areas:Engineering Technician experience ranging from 2-10 years of experience.Mechanical Assembler experience ranging from 2-10 years of experience.Welder experience ranging from 5-10 years of experience.Have attention to safety (which is critical).Candidate must be willing to travel up to 10% to various work sites.Additional desired experience and skills:An active DoD Secret ClearanceOSHA CertificationIf you are interested in supporting and working with our team across the globe on a passionate, talented, and diverse Serco team- then submit your application now for immediate consideration.
