Inventory Control Clerk

Seeking to hire experienced Inventory Control Clerk's located near the Pottstown, PA area for a FULL TIME job opportunity. The inventory control clerk will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to support production and operational efficiency while adhering to established policies and procedures. This role focuses on tracking, analyzing, and reconciling inventory records to ensure accuracy, availability, and timely flow of materials. The specialist works closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory movement, reduce discrepancies, and support smooth manufacturing operations. Prior experinced working as a shipping/ receiving clerk, inventory control specialist, inventory control clerk, shipping clerk, invetory clerk, or inventory associate would be a good fit to be considered for this role. Other skills include using any type of inventory management systems like SAP, oracle, UPS or FedEx shipping system. This is a LONG TERM opportunity, WEEKLY PAY, and offers company BENEFITS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to support production and operational needs.

• Track, analyze, and reconcile inventory records to ensure data accuracy and material availability.

• Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory flow and minimize discrepancies.

• Use MRP/ERP systems to perform inventory tracking, transactions, and control activities.

• Perform packing and shipping tasks in accordance with company procedures and safe material handling practices.

• Support stockroom and inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.

• Apply foundational inventory management principles to improve efficiency and reduce stock variances.

• Utilize MS Office applications to prepare reports, maintain spreadsheets, and document inventory activities.

• Drive company vehicles as needed to support material movement, following all safety and driving requirements.

• Follow safe handling procedures for hazardous materials and electro-static sensitive components (ESD), when applicable.

• Adhere to all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines within the manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
