Order SelectorHouston, Texas, United States$ 16.00 - 16.50 (US Dollar)About the Job Order SelectorJob Title: Order Selector/PackerSummary: Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials. Operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Driving stand up forklifts around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities.Duties and Responsibilities:Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner.Identifies damaged materials and records material shortages.Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish tasks.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.Ability to transport 1213-foot bundles, packages and materials around warehouse.Requirements:Must have stand up forklift experience (Raymond Standup)Proven experience operating a standup forkliftAbility to move bundles as high as 20-30 feetExperience in general labor and warehousePhysical Demands and Work Environment:Frequently required to stand and walkFrequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterityFrequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 poundsOccasionally required to balance, bend, stoop, or kneel
