Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech Language Pathologist provides specialized outpatient pediatric and inpatient adult speech therapy services. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders primarily in pediatric outpatient settings with some inpatient adult rehabilitation care. The clinician collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care. A minimum of three years of relevant experience and appropriate licensure are required. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric outpatients and adult inpatients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric outpatient and adult inpatient populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals and strategies to support communication improvement.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Ohio.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric outpatient speech therapy.
• Experience with adult inpatient rehabilitation speech therapy preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.

• Experience exclusively with pediatric outpatient populations (optional accommodation).
• Familiarity with inpatient rehabilitation protocols and multidisciplinary team dynamics.

• Work primarily outpatient pediatric with 20% inpatient adult rehabilitation.
• Licensed and credentialed to practice in Ohio.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Total 36 hours per week.
