Position Details
Position: Senior Customer Service Representative
Location: Remote (Work from Home) – Contiguous U.S. only
Duration: 6 Months contract
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Role Overview
Representatives will support the Vermont Health Insurance Exchange (VT HIX) by assisting callers with:
Health insurance enrollments and coverage changes
Medicaid and Marketplace plans
Eligibility and financial assistance questions
Healthcare coverage and benefit inquiries
Documenting customer interactions while handling inbound customer service calls

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1–3 years of customer service experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers

Training Requirements
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ET
100% attendance is required during training and residency
Cameras must remain on throughout training
No pre-scheduled appointments during training or residency

Equipment Requirements (BYOD)
Candidates must provide their own:
Windows or Mac computer (no Chromebooks)
Webcam
Wired USB headset with microphone
Wired Ethernet internet connection
