Job Summary

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collect and assess health data for ongoing evaluation.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, therapy, and restorative treatments.
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize resources effectively and promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health.
• Float to other departments or be on-call as required based on business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS) as applicable to the unit or service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant certifications for the unit or service.
