This contract opportunity runs from now until the end of October, offering a hands-on, one-on-one role where you’ll positively influence a child’s academic and personal growth. Each weekday (9:00am-4:25pm), focus your energy and skills to help a student thrive.

Desired Background and Experience:

• Valid and active substitute certificate reflected on DESE
• Previous experience in schools, particularly in behavioral support roles
• Proven reliability and professional presence
• Dependable personal transportation
• Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting requirements prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support for a student throughout the school day in a nurturing elementary school setting
• Implement strategies tailored to individual student needs, fostering development academically, emotionally, and behaviorally
• Collaborate actively with teachers, counselors, and specialists to promote consistent guidance and stability
• Assist with transitions and maintain engagement, using positive reinforcement and intervention techniques as needed
• Model resilience, patience, and encouragement in all interactions
