LHH is actively seeking a Quality Engineer for one of our top clients Ohio! This will be a long term contract opportunity and will work hybrid to their office in North Canton.

Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support product quality, testing, and continuous improvement across our operations. In this role, you will perform inspections, develop and execute quality testing plans, analyze test results, and partner with Operations and other stakeholders to ensure products and processes meet customer requirements and specifications.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical problem solver who can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and effectively communicate quality findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with customer requirements, product specifications, quality standards, and applicable processes.
• Perform inspections and quality assessments of raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished products.
• Develop procedures and corrective approaches to address recurring or standard material and product quality issues.
• Develop, plan, and coordinate material, product, and system testing activities.
• Select and apply appropriate testing techniques, methodologies, tools, and standards.
• Analyze test results to evaluate product and process performance and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify root causes of material and product quality issues and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with Operations to implement quality improvements and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Identify and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to product and process quality.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and presentations summarizing quality results, trends, issues, and recommendations.
• Communicate quality findings and improvement opportunities to internal stakeholders and support cross-functional problem solving.
• Manage multiple quality projects and testing activities while meeting established timelines and priorities.
• Support additional quality initiatives and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar quality engineering role.
• 3-5 years of experience with a variety of testing techniques and methodologies.
• 3-5 years of experience with QA tools, processes, and testing practices.
• Strong knowledge of engineering test methodologies, quality tools, standards, and procedures.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify quality issues, evaluate potential solutions, and drive effective resolution.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel 0-25% of the time.

Success in this role means consistently identifying and resolving quality issues, ensuring products and processes meet customer and internal requirements, providing actionable insights through quality data and reporting, and partnering across the organization to drive measurable improvements in quality and performance.

Pay Details: $28.76 to $37.39 per hour
