Stationary Engineer

Stationary EngineerWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled 1st Grade Stationary Engineer to join our team. This role requires a Maryland 1st Grade Stationary Engineer License and offers opportunities to work 2nd or 3rd shift in the Central Utility Plant. $3.50/hr shift differential is offered for 2nd shift, and $5/hr is offered 3rd.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems, boilers, VAVs, and chillers.Perform boiler maintenance and repair plumbing fixtures and piping.Utilize electrical and mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and problem-solving.Ensure preventative maintenance (PMs) is conducted on all equipment to uphold client standards.Essential Skills:Maryland 1st Grade Stationary Engineer License.High School Diploma or GED.Valid Driver's License.Experience in HVAC, boiler systems, electrical, and plumbing.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical systems.MD1st Grade Stationary License required. Must be active. Cannot take NAPE, DC, or Niulpe license.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROCKVILLE, MD.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
