Global Safety & Environment Intern

Provide environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and technical support to local site business partners Support compliance programs including General Occupational Safety, High-Risk Work, Industrial Hygiene, and Air/Water/Waste Environmental programs Complete one or more projects during the 10–12 week internship Receive direction and implement corresponding changes Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/master’s degree in safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or another technical program Completed at least 2 years of college coursework Able to work full time for 10–12 weeks Critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and computer skills Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes Ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutions Prior internship or work experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety or chemical manufacturing preferred Ability to convey ideas and explain decisions clearly and concisely preferred Ability to work in a small team preferred Must be a US or Puerto Rico resident No visa sponsorship available Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance, with strong capabilities in identifying process inefficiencies and proposing effective solutions.
