CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist nursing staff in providing quality care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure resident safety and comfort while supporting daily clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform essential patient care activities under the supervision of nursing staff.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and care provided.
• Follow infection control protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination and safety measures.
• Report any changes in resident condition or safety concerns to the nursing team.
• Wear a photo badge and bring valid identification at all times on shift.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA certification required.
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or possess a valid religious or medical exemption.
• Ability to work weekends and be flexible with scheduling.
• Strong communication and compassionate care skills.
• Ability to adhere to facility policies and safety protocols.
