Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Westage Business Center Drive in Fishkill, NY. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company to patients and partners. Location Westage Business Center Drive, Fishkill, NY Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm with rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as needed. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3+ months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if not previously experienced. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $17.75 – $21.00 per hour. Eligible for the PST Incentive Plan and other company benefits depending on hours worked. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD. 401(k) with or without employer match. Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) for employees working ≥20 hours per week. Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
