Position Information Winthrop Position Title Winthrop Position Title Adjunct - Online Marketing for Arts Administration and Capstone Advisor (MAAA) Job Description Winthrop University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts ( CVPA ) seeks qualified adjunct faculty with expertise in marketing for arts and cultural organizations to teach graduate-level courses in the Master of Arts in Arts Administration ( MAAA ) program and to be part of a pool of Capstone Advisors. Courses are delivered in a 100% online format and typically serve working professionals and emerging arts leaders. Position Responsibilities Teaching assigned graduate course(s) online, using the University’s LMS , Blackboard Designing and facilitating high-quality online learning experiences (weekly modules, discussions, feedback, assessments, video lectures) Providing timely communication, grading, and student support Aligning course outcomes, activities, and assessments with program expectations Collaborating with the Program Director on course planning, consistency, and continuous improvement Maintaining appropriate academic documentation (syllabus, grade records, assessment artifacts) Founded in 1886, Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, offers its 6,000-plus undergraduate and graduate students an educational experience that blends liberal arts, professional programs, global awareness, and civic engagement. Position Availability Position Availability 01/01/2026 Required Qualifications Adjunct faculty teaching graduatecourses at Winthrop University must have a master’s degree or higher in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. A terminal degree ( MFA or doctorate) is preferred as well as professional experience in the subject being taught.
