Employment Solutions is currently seeking a Bilingual (Eng/Span) Procurement Assistant to work in the Miramar, FL area for a vitamin manufacturing plant that has been in business for 25 years!
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.
- Inventory verification and purchase requirements
- Determine procurement needs with internal departments
- Research pricing, specs, and minimums of ingredients
- Update database with current pricing, lead times, and other relevant information
- Manage and search for new suppliers
- Assures compliance with all inventory management requirements
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Any other duties as required by the supervisor
- At least one year experience in business-to-business purchasing (B2B)
- Experience with cGMP's is a plus
- Computer skills: Excellent with MS Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English and Spanish REQUIRED
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
