Laboratory Supervisor

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor Analytical to oversee daily operations of an analytical laboratory and lead a team of laboratory professionals.
The role requires strong experience in analytical chemistry, cGMP, and chromatography, particularly HPLC. The supervisor will provide technical leadership, ensure accurate and timely testing, maintain quality standards, and support the ongoing development of the laboratory team.




Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction to analytical laboratory staff.
• Oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure testing is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Review analytical data and test results for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a technical resource for analytical chemistry, instrumentation, and laboratory procedures.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and safety requirements.
• Support CAPA investigations and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor laboratory performance metrics, productivity, quality, and error reduction.
• Ensure laboratory employees are properly trained and qualified for assigned responsibilities.
• Lead team meetings, training, performance evaluations, and employee development.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership and other departments to improve processes and laboratory efficiency.
• Maintain current knowledge of analytical technologies, industry practices, and applicable regulations.
• Support investigations and corrective actions related to instruments, systems, and processes that are out of specification.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
• 3+ years of analytical chemistry/data interpretation experience.
• 3+ years of experience with analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, and/or IC.
• 2+ years of employee management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP/GMP and laboratory quality systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
