JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Pediatrics Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Hesperia, CA 92345 Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 01, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm 4 weeks per month Open to Locum-to-PERM Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pediatric patients (socioeconomically challenged community) Average Daily Volume: 25 patients/day Case Mix: General pediatrics FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs, 4 Office Staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Credentialing Timeline: No privileges required; start upon credentialing completion. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care to patients in a high-demand clinic. Manage an average of 25 patient encounters per day, adjusting for high no-show rates. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible lunch. Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
