MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for a variety of patients and conduct individualized assessments to develop tailored care plans. They prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments. Key duties include: Preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications Responding promptly to adverse symptoms with alternative actions Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs as needed Qualifications & Skills Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform patient assessments and procedures accurately.
