Help Shape the Future.Blue Ribbon Exteriors & Construction is looking for an experienced Director of Construction Operations to lead projects, strengthen operations, and support our continued growth in both residential and commercial construction.This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, leading high-performing teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional projects from preconstruction through closeout.What You'll DoBusiness Development & Client RelationsMeet with prospective clients to understand project goals and budgetsDevelop scopes, estimates, proposals, and project plansBuild long-term relationships with homeowners, business owners, architects, designers, and trade partnersSupport business growth through outstanding client service and repeat businessEstimating & PreconstructionPrepare and review estimates using BuildertrendAnalyze subcontractor and vendor proposalsReview plans, specifications, and construction documentsDevelop budgets, schedules, and value engineering recommendationsParticipate in design and preconstruction meetingsProject ManagementOversee projects from planning through completionManage schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, change orders, and project closeoutLead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetingsMonitor project costs, forecasts, quality, and client satisfactionIdentify and resolve issues proactivelyOperations & LeadershipImprove construction processes and standard operating proceduresStrengthen coordination between sales, estimating, and productionRecruit, onboard, mentor, and support Project Managers and SuperintendentsFoster accountability, communication, and continuous improvement across the teamWhat Success Looks LikeWithin your first 90 days, you'll be expected to:Contribute to new project opportunities through client meetings and estimatingManage active projects with confidence and professionalismBuild strong relationships with clients and trade partnersDemonstrate organized leadership and sound decision-makingRecommend improvements that strengthen operations and project deliveryQualificationsWe 're looking for a construction leader with experience in residential construction, remodeling, custom homes, or a related field. Commercial construction experience is a plus.Preferred qualifications include:Experience managing construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutStrong estimating and budgeting skillsExperience reviewing construction plans and specificationsAbility to analyze subcontractor and vendor proposalsExperience leading client and project coordination meetingsStrong knowledge of scheduling, forecasting, and project financial managementExperience with construction management software; Buildertrend preferredExperience developing processes and operating proceduresExperience leading, mentoring, or managing construction professionalsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsWhy You'll Enjoy This RoleYou'll thrive here if you enjoy balancing field operations with business leadership.
