Make a difference in students’ educational journeys by supporting classrooms as a dedicated paraprofessional for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. In this contract role, you’ll partner closely with teachers and staff to provide essential assistance and help foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
Your background as a paraprofessional or in similar support roles will allow you to contribute directly to student success, especially for those requiring additional guidance. Adaptability, empathy, and a collaborative spirit are key as you help deliver individualized and small group instruction, assist with classroom management, and facilitate student participation in activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recent experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide within a school environment
- Familiarity with supporting students in a variety of academic and/or behavioral needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow directions and take initiative
- Patience and dedication to fostering a positive classroom atmosphere
- Experience working with special education populations is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support under the supervision of classroom teachers
- Assist with lesson implementation and reinforce learning objectives
- Support inclusion and engagement for all students, including those with special needs
- Help with daily classroom operations and organization
- Foster a respectful, safe space where every student can thrive
