About the Role
- Dedicated Memphis, TN route
- Start: Tuesday at 4:00 AM
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
- Approximately 5,000 miles per week
- $0.85 per mile (truck pay)
- Consistent, year-round miles
- Assigned newer Volvo VNL automatic truck
- No-touch freight
- PrePass & E-ZPass provided
- Microwave & power inverter in every truck
- Well-maintained equipment
- On-site mechanic
- Friendly dispatch and 24/7 support
- Stable dedicated FedEx Ground route
- Long-term employment
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer within the FedEx Ground Linehaul network
- Team drive to maximize miles and maintain on-time service
- Transport freight safely and efficiently
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD/logbook records
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Follow all DOT and company safety requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean MVR and satisfactory driving record
- Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to team drive
- Knowledge of ELD and HOS requirements
- Professional and reliable
