Role Summary: The outpatient therapist will provide culturally competent and trauma informed treatment services to individuals and/or families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situation, mental health and/or substance use concerns. The therapist will provide comprehensive assessments, therapy, consultation/case management and make appropriate referrals as needed. Key Responsibilities: Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient mental health and/or substance use treatment to clients Complete and maintain clinical documentation within agency set timeframes Maintain productivity expectations for your position and department Participate in interdisciplinary clinical/administrative team meetings Maintain an effective working relationship with professionals in the community and other agencies through verbal and written communication Conceptualize mental health, behavioral and substance use disorders in a manner that incorporates knowledge of growth and development in youth and adults. Assist client in defining and implementing treatment goals and develop a collaborative treatment plan. Make referrals as clinically indicated. Assess and manage risk on an ongoing basis and adjust level of care and recommendations as needed. Skills in applying varied interventions with individuals and families in crisis Administer drug screening as clinically necessary. Understand the benefits and limitations of testing procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently Ability to navigate computer software include Microsoft Word and the agencies ECR, CareLogic Ability to engage clients and establish ongoing relationships Skills associated with group facilitation and group member interaction Required Education and Experience: Masters level Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage & Family Therapist LPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, LPCC-S, LISW-S Experience working with clients who are at risk (preferred) Must be able to pass an FBI/BCI background check About Ravenwood Health: If you are passionate about making a positive impact, thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment, and value work-life balance, we want to hear from you!
