Role Overview: Community Strategy & Project Management

The Rockstar Games Community team is responsible for cultivating, growing, and engaging one of the largest and most passionate fanbases in the world. As the Project Manager , you will take center stage in transforming community-led ideas into actionable reality.

Your mission is to handle the “business side” of community engagement. This includes managing creator relationships, overseeing public-facing messaging across the Rockstar Newswire and social platforms, and ensuring that community feedback is accurately collated and delivered to our internal development teams. You are the engine that keeps the community’s rhythm of business moving at the high speed required for a global entertainment brand.

Key Responsibilities

1. Initiative Planning & Execution

• Lead the lifecycle of community business initiatives from initial kickoff to final delivery.

• Define clear objectives, milestones, and success metrics for every project.

• Coordinate with Publishing Planning to ensure all priority initiatives align with the broader studio roadmap.

2. Workflow Optimization

• Analyze existing project workflows between the Community and partner teams (Legal, Marketing, Development).

• Identify bottlenecks and implement improved processes to enhance team efficiency.

• Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met on time and within scope.

3. Strategic Support & Reporting

• Define the Community team’s “rhythm of business,” ensuring the Head of Community and key stakeholders are fully updated on project health.

• Support the compilation of strategic proposals for future community features and social media campaigns.

• Collate community sentiment analysis and activity reports, delivering high-level insights to key internal collaborators.

4. Project Coordination

• Maintain up-to-date project boards using Monday.com , ensuring visibility for all team members.

• Prioritize projects within the Community team to manage bandwidth and avoid resource fatigue.

• Ensure all public-facing messaging is synchronized across social media platforms.

Requirements & Qualifications

Rockstar Games looking for a seasoned professional who understands the unique intersection of community management and high-level project logistics.

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience, specifically within the entertainment, gaming, or media industries.

• Proven Track Record: A solid history of leading objective-led campaigns and initiatives that met or exceeded their goals.

• Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex internal hierarchies and maintain professional external relationships.

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern project management tools and an understanding of social platform landscapes.

• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to find optimal solutions for complex, fast-moving tasks.
