$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Night shift position with hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Every other holiday required
• Low census call may occur on occasion
• No floating requirements
• Block scheduling available to some extent for night shift workers
• Self-scheduling not available
• Greater than 3 years of ER experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must be able to interpret cardiac strips
• Must be able to titrate drips including Propofol, Cardizem, and insulin
• Willingness to train to House Supervisor is a bonus
• No required scrub colors
• Charting system: Cerner
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4-5
• Common diagnoses include STEMI, trauma, stroke, COPD, CHF, and sepsis
• 24/7 Respiratory Therapy in house for vents, CPAP, and BiPAP
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
Facility:
This acute care facility features a 19-bed Emergency Department and Urgent Care unit providing comprehensive emergency medical services. The facility offers 24/7 Respiratory Therapy support and treats a wide range of critical conditions including STEMI, trauma, stroke, COPD, CHF, and sepsis. The organization maintains a structured orientation process including hospital-wide training and department-specific orientation to ensure staff are well-prepared for their roles.
