Location: Los Angeles, CA Work Type: In-Person / Field Sales Compensation: Commission-Only | Uncapped Earnings OTE: $170,000+ at target performance About the role We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join IOI Solutions in Los Angeles and help us develop new business through persistent, relationship-driven outbound sales. This is primarily an in-person business development role . You will be provided with targeted territories and a map of qualified businesses throughout Los Angeles. Your job is to get in front of those businesses, meet owners and decision-makers, identify opportunities, build relationships, and ultimately turn those relationships into IOI Solutions clients. In-person visits are a major part of the strategy, but you will own the entire outbound process across visits, phone calls, texts, emails, networking, and follow-up . This is not a role where success means booking a few meetings. You will be responsible for developing enough pipeline to consistently close 4 new clients per month, approximately 1 new client per week . You will work closely with the Founder and IOI Solutions leadership team on targeting, sales strategy, proposals, positioning, and closing opportunities. At target performance, expected annual earnings are approximately $170,000+ , with uncapped earning potential. What you'll do Close a target of 4 new clients per month Build and maintain enough qualified pipeline to consistently generate approximately 1 new client per week Visit targeted businesses throughout Los Angeles in person Cold approach business owners, general managers, and other decision-makers Work assigned territories and prospect lists using maps provided by IOI Solutions Prospect through a combination of in-person visits, phone calls, texts, emails, networking, and other outbound channels Identify prospective clients with meaningful marketing and growth opportunities Develop relationships with business owners and decision-makers over multiple interactions Follow up persistently with prospects until an opportunity is won, lost, or determined not to be a fit Conduct discovery conversations to understand a prospect's business, marketing, goals, challenges, and growth opportunities Clearly communicate the value of IOI Solutions and our marketing services Present recommendations, proposals, and opportunities to prospective clients Move qualified opportunities through the sales process and close new business Maintain an organized CRM with accurate notes, next steps, pipeline stages, and follow-up dates Track personal activity, pipeline, opportunities, close rate, and new revenue generated Attend automotive events, networking events, trade shows, and industry gatherings Develop a strong presence and network within the Los Angeles business and automotive communities Continuously improve your approach based on what generates the most conversations, opportunities, and clients Qualifications Strong experience cold approaching businesses or prospects Proven ability to confidently start conversations with people you have never met Comfortable walking into businesses without an appointment and asking to speak with the decision-maker Previous experience in outbound sales, outside sales, field sales, business development, canvassing, or a similar prospecting-heavy role Demonstrated ability to generate your own pipeline rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads Strong sales instincts and ability to move conversations toward a decision Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills Confident communicating with business owners, executives, and senior decision-makers Persistent and comfortable following up repeatedly without becoming discouraged by rejectionCompetitive, ambitious, and highly motivated by performance-based compensation Highly organized with strong pipeline and follow-up management Self-directed and capable of managing your own territory and daily activity Comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday traveling throughout Los Angeles Based in the Los Angeles area with reliable transportation Automotive industry experience is a major plus. Experience working with or selling to dealerships, auto body shops, collision centers, PPF shops, wrap shops, detailers, wheel and tire shops, performance shops, or other automotive businesses is especially valuable. Experience selling digital marketing, advertising, SaaS, professional services, or other high-value B2B services is also strongly preferred.
