HVAC TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and customer-focused HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and perform necessary repairs.Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.Test system performance and verify proper operation after repairs or installations.Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance needs to customers in a professional manner.Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory documentation.Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC work and safety standards.Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service requests as needed.Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean and professional condition.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED.HVAC service or installation experience.Valid Class E Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.PreferredHVAC certification from a technical training program.NATE Certification.Experience with residential and light commercial systems.Knowledge of smart thermostats and HVAC control systems.
