NOW HIRING – FORGE MACHINE OPERATORS!

Carol Stream, IL

$21.00/hr to $24/hr

Monday–Friday | Full-Time | 40+ hours

Weekly Pay | Overtime Available

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Forge Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position working with a 2–3 person team to forge and trim parts used in automotive hub bearing units .

What You’ll Do:

• Operate and adjust forge presses safely and according to guidelines
• Adjust dies and tooling sets
• Work as part of a 2–3 person team to forge and trim automotive parts
• Use gauges to measure and verify part dimensions
• Inspect finished parts and identify quality issues
• Complete quality and production paperwork accurately
• Report any production abnormalities to the Supervisor
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machinery
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and controls
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and operate production equipment
• Able to recognize quality issues
• Basic shop math skills
• Able to read, follow, and document written instructions
• Good attendance and ability to work well with a team

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment and the work can get hot due to the forging machines.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and use hands regularly
• Exposure to moving machinery, vibration, noise, and other normal industrial hazards
• Safety glasses, steel-toe safety shoes, bump cap, hearing protection, and required gloves/PPE must be worn in the production area
• Overtime may be required

• Starting pay: $21.00/hr + $2 shift differential
• Full-time Monday–Friday schedule
