Advanced Care Technician CnaWe are seeking a compassionate Advanced Care Technician (ACT-Float) to provide essential patient care and comfort under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This role supports infant, pediatric, and adult patients, ensuring their daily needs are met with kindness and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to unit safety and infection control protocols.Offer comfort measures and assist patients with daily activities and meals.Record and communicate vital signs and patient observations to supervisors.Clean and prepare medical equipment, reporting any issues promptly.Assist with patient transport as needed.Prepare formula in the NICU department when required.QualificationsACT: Preferred 3-6 months experience in an acute care setting.ACT-Float: Preferred 1 year experience in acute care.NICU Department: Required minimum 2 years CNA experience; pediatric experience highly valued.Basic computer proficiency and ability to follow instructions in English.Familiarity with electronic charting is a plus.EducationMust hold one or more of the following upon hire: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certificationLicensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)Military CorpsmanNursing student with fundamentals of nursing completed, including initial assessment and vital signsCertificationCurrent BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.NVCI certification within 90 days of hire or transfer for specific departments.Completion of at least 10 continuing education hours annually related to the role.All candidates must successfully pass a physical exam, drug screening, and background check prior to employment.This opportunity is located in a vibrant regional healthcare setting within the Pacific Northwest, serving diverse communities with dedication and care.
