Job Summary In the Direct Sales Representative role, you will be part of one of the most dynamic sales departments in the company. As a valued member of the Optimum door‑to‑door team, you will work in the ever‑changing consumer landscape. Every day will be different, every interaction unique, and you will have the opportunity to provide our valued customers with a memorable experience, guiding them through our full suite of Optimum products and services, such as high‑speed internet, advanced TV, mobile, and voice technologies, ensuring that their solution best fits their needs. Responsibilities Customized Solutions: Craft tailored telecom packages that meet each customer’s unique needs. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest offerings, pricing plans, and technologies. Sales Pitch: Sell in the field, showcasing the advantages of our products and services while addressing customer concerns. Closing Deals: Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring customers are satisfied and committed. Documentation: Complete all paperwork, contracts, and sales reports with precision. Relationship Building: Provide post‑sales support and assistance, turning customers into lifelong advocates. Team Collaboration: Work with fellow sales colleagues to develop strategies and achieve collective goals. Targets and Quotas: Consistently meet or surpass monthly sales targets and quotas. Compliance: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and sales best practices. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Effective communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. Self‑motivated and able to work independently. Proficient computer and technical skills. Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record. Physical abilities: Sitting, standing, and walking as required. Availability to work full time. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual preferred to support communication with diverse customers. Sales‑centric mindset: Passion for achieving sales targets; ability to empathize with customers and provide tailored solutions. Extensive product knowledge: Deep understanding of mobile and fixed‑line products; ability to translate technical information into customer‑friendly terms. Digital proficiency: Comfortable navigating digital platforms and tools; proficient with CRM, POS, and related software. Base Salary at Hire: $35,000 plus commissions. Earnings vary by performance.
