Job Title

Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Monitor and care for post-operative patients including surgical, orthopedic (spine and joint), and cath lab recovery patients
• Manage patients with conditions including stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, and respiratory failure
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips at set rates, including heparin titration
• Utilize telemetry monitoring equipment and post-operative monitoring systems
• Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech / CPN)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care hospital PCU experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac nursing experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
