As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Knoxville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including building interiors, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and reporting unusual activity or policy violations.
• Observe trailer yards, package handling areas, and high-traffic operational zones for potential hazards, unsecured access points, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate findings according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
