Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide supportive therapy services in a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will focus on improving patients’ functional abilities through individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions to determine appropriate therapy interventions.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans to meet patients’ recovery goals.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure therapy consistency.

• Document patient progress, modify treatment strategies as needed, and maintain detailed records.

• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and coping strategies.

• Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist required prior to start.

• Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in occupational therapy preferred.

• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Willingness to float within hospital departments or affiliate facilities.
