LCSW Position
Valeo Resources has partnered with a workers compensation mental health organization focusing on the five boroughs of NY. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time LCSW to join the team in New York! In this role, you will be working with adults who present no severe mental illness, but are injured workers within the workers' compensation system.
Position: LCSW
Location: Hybrid, 1 day on site/week, remainder remote
Schedule:
- M-F, day shifts 9am-5pm (Full time - W2)
- Part time available only for evenings until 8pm and Saturday mornings.
Nature of Work: Forensic based, which involves documenting and assessing for legal purposes, compared to therapeutic work, which focuses solely on treatment.
- Sessions are 30 minutes
- 14 clients are scheduled daily with the goal of seeing 11 clients per day.
Employment Structure:
- LCSWs: Part-time (21 hours/week) or Full-time (35 hours/week) W2.
- 16 hours per week is acceptable for Bilingual candidates.
- Psychologists: Part-time (14 hours/week) or Full-time (35 hours/week) W2.
- Generally, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm standard schedule.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as an independent therapist, counselor, or psychologist in the state of NY.
Benefits and compensation:
- LCSWs: $40 per client, $80 per hour. Annual salary range $90K-$98K.
- Psychologists: $50 per client, $100 per hour. Annual salary range $120K-$150K.
Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, etc.
This is a fee for service model which we will provide the clients to you and our admin team will assign them and manage your schedule. You will see on average of 11 clients/day. Additionally, there is a lot of support meaning you have extensive training and touchbases along with being assigned a supervisor who will work with you regardless of experience to ensure you have the right connections to succeed.
