The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:

• Load and unload material from trucks.
• Receive and record computer entries for all inbound materials.
• Package and prepare finished goods, work in process and other materials for shipment.
• Perform necessary identification and paperwork in connection with shipments or receiving where close attention to detail is required.
• Handle in-plant materials.
• Pick up and deliver materials, work in process inventory and packaging materials.
• Return correctly identified materials to proper location in inventory.
• Perform necessary identification and inventory paperwork.
• Successfully complete forklift certification program.
• Practice safe and alert material handling at all times.
• Perform pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping.
• Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for paint.
• Keep all materials and products neat and organized.
• Assist production operators with timely delivery of products and containers, as needed.
• Minimally drive truck on roads and highways transporting materials and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
